HUNTSVILLE, Texas-Sammi Mayock and Lindsey Bienski each found the net as the Sam Houston State Bearkats downed Utah State 2-0 Friday in non-conference women’s soccer action at Pritchett Field.
The Aggies bested the Bearkats at shots on goal 13-12, including an 8-2 advantage in the first half.
Nevertheless, Christina Hendershot recorded seven saves en route to her shutout for the Bearkats.
The Aggies commence their home season Sunday at 1:00 p.m. against Minnesota.
