SALT LAKE CITY-Emma Heyn scored twice and Allie Millerberg also found the net as the Westminster Griffins outlasted Simon Fraser 3-2 Monday in non-conference women’s soccer action at Dumke Field.
Scoring in the loss for the Clan was Christina Dickson. The Griffins commence Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Sunday as they face in-state rival Dixie State. The Griffins improved to 3-1 with the win.
LOGAN, Utah-Hailey Skolmoski, Paola Van Der Veen and Tavia Leachman each found the net as the Utah Utes blanked Utah State 3-0 in non-conference women’s soccer action at the Chuck & Gloria Bell Soccer Field Monday.
The Utes were the aggressors throughout the match as they out-shot the Aggies 15-12 and amassed eight shots on goal to Utah State’s four.
