TORONTO-Wednesday, per an official report from the Canadian Football League and TSN, Canada’s sports leader, Utah State quarterback Jordan Love and former Utah star linebacker Nate Orchard are on negotiation lists of CFL teams.
CFL negotiation lists consist of roughly 45 players whose rights are owned by any one of the nine CFL franchises. These lists consist of players who are in the NFL, in college, or currently North American pro football free agents.
Love, who is excelling as a sophomore signal-caller for the Aggies, is on the negotiation list of the Edmonton Eskimos. Orchard, currently a free agent, is on the negotiation list of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
These mysteriously constructed lists also feature other notable players, such as Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (the property of the BC Lions should he ever opt to play in Canada) and Alabama Heisman-candidate quarterback Tua Tagavailoa (the property of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats under the same circumstance).
