DENVER-Utah Valley University guard Jake Toolson has been named as the Western Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball player of the week for the week of November 19-25 per an announcement from the league Monday.
This is the third WAC Sports player of the week honor of his career.
The redshirt junior guard out of Gilbert, Ariz. averaged 16.3 points, 5 rebounds and three assists a game for the Wolverines.
He shot 66.7 percent from the field, including 77.8 percent behind the arc, in wins over Hartford, Long Beach State and North Dakota.
