Greg Filer III scored on a 27-yard pick-6 — one of three interceptions thrown by Jake Constantine — to give Montana State (4-3, 2-2 Big Sky Conference) a 24-17 lead with 6:17 left in the third quarter. Weber State responded with a six-play, 67-yard drive capped by Garrett’s second touchdown. After the Bobcats went three-and-out, Constantine completed five consecutive passes for 62 yards before Garrett’s final score gave the Wildcats their first lead of the game at 31-24 early in the fourth.
Weber State (5-2, 3-1), ranked No. 7 in the STATS FCS poll, has won three in a row against the Bobcats.
Troy Andersen was just 9-of-22 passing for 53 yards with two interceptions, but led Montana State with 102 yards rushing, including a 71-yard touchdown that made it 17-7 in the second quarter.
