PROVO, Utah-Yoeli Childs netted 20 points and 8 rebounds on 7-10 from the field as the BYU Cougars pummeled NCAA Division II Saint Martin’s 92-71 in a men’s basketball exhibition Wednesday at the Marriott Center.
TJ Haws and Dalton Nixon added 11 points apiece in the win for the Cougars while BYU shot 57.9 percent for the game.
BYU built a 45-23 lead at the half and cruised to the victory from there.
BJ Standley’s 18 points led the Saints in the loss.
The Cougars are next in action Thursday November 1 against another NCAA Division II foe, Westminster of Salt Lake City.
