BYU #2 In Men’s Cross Country Poll Released By USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS-Tuesday, the USTFCCCA released its men’s and women’s cross country rankings ahead of the season, which commences Saturday throughout the country.

The BYU men are the highest-ranked team in Utah as they check in at #2 in the country, trailing only top-ranked Northern Arizona.

The Cougar men will be led by returning All-Americans Rory Linkletter of Herriman, Utah and senior Connor McMillan of American Fork, Utah.

The Southern Utah men also represent Utah in the Top 25 as they are #14, but have to deal with the top-ranked Lumberjacks within the Big Sky Conference.

Utah State checks in just out of the polls at 31st overall while only the top 30 teams are ranked.

The Utah State women are 10th nationally in the polls with BYU’s women checking in at 16th in the polls.
