HEBER CITY, Utah-After an overnight snowstorm through Provo Canyon which saw 30 feet of snow fall and an avalanche cause U.S. Highway 189 to be closed, the Wasatch County School District confirms the highway is open Friday morning.
One lane of U.S. 189 is open in either direction so anyone needing to go to the Utah Valley from Heber Valley and the other way, can pass through.
The school district advises everyone to drive safely if in the area.
