The Tollgate Fire is now 65 percent contained, per the official Twitter of Summit County. Four homes are still under an advisory and two cell towers still remain threatened. Fire crews are expected to remain combating the blaze throughout the weekend.

The offical Summit County Twitter account reports the fire is 30 percent contained. One fire truck will remain on the scene monitoring hot spots along the perimeter of the blaze. The blaze has not grown from 287 acres.

The official Twitter account of Summit County confirms fire crews are working to increase containment of the Tollgate Canyon Fire on day two. Lower winds and increased relative humidity are expected to assist in the efforts.

Rae Ann Christensen of KUTV 2 News confirms residents were allowed to return home Monday evening but the fire has a long way to go. It is only 10 percent contained and has not shown any growth since last night.

Both Steinbrecher and KSL News reporter Brittany Tait confirmed the blaze was 10 percent contained, having burned 287 acres. All evacuations have been lifted and crews will watch hot spots throughout the evening.

The official Twitter account of Summit County stated residents could return home after being forced to evacuate earlier this afternoon. They are asked to drive slowly and proceed with caution.

Steinbrecher states the Tollgate Fire has entirely scorched a nearby hillside. She confirms crews are engaging in backburning efforts in hopes of stifling the blaze.

Lauren Steinbrecher of FOX 13 of Salt Lake City reports the High West Distillery has now been evacuated. Authorities caution drivers to be careful driving on I-80 through the area as visibility can be poor at times.

Roe reports the Tollgate Fire has grown from 200-250 acres and fire officials expect it to grow to over 300 acres.

Sarah Martin of ABC 4 Utah reports Exit 150 off of I-80 is clogged with smoke, but still open to drivers at this time.

A report from Rikki Meece of KSL Newsradio confirms the smoke from the Tollgate Fire can now be seen from Interstate 80 at the Silver Creek/U.S. Highway 40 junction, 17 miles northwest of downtown Heber City.

A report from KSL Newsradio on Twitter confirms the Tollgate Fire has burned 60 acres, resulting in the evacuation of four homes in the region. Ginna Roe of KUTV 2 News in Salt Lake City substantiated this report.

Park City residents have also taken to Twitter and shared their images. A “fire plane” has begun to circle the area where the Tollgate Fire started.

The Tollgate Fire, which started Monday afternoon around 2:42 pm near Park City, is increasing as the afternoon progresses.
The flames, per KPCW Radio, have jumped over Forrest Meadow Road. Two helicopters are actively seeking to combat the blaze.
