HEBER CITY, Utah-Monday, the Timpanogos Valley Theater of Heber City will host an optional script reading for their upcoming production “Lend Me a Tenor.”
This is a comedy by Ken Ludwig which debuted in 1986 and occurs in a Cleveland hotel suite in 1934.
The plot primarily consists of Cleveland Grand Opera Company general manager Henry Saunders seeking to secure the services of famed Italian tenor “Il Stupendo.”
Hilarity ensues as Saunders’ assistant, Max, seeks to get Il Stupendo to the opera house for what Saunders hopes will be a tremendous performance.
The optional script-read this evening is slated for 7:00 pm at the Timpanogos Valley Theater, located at 90 N. 100 West in Heber City.
Auditions for this play will occur July 26 from 6:00-8:00 pm and July 28 from 9:00-10:00 pm at the theater.
Rehearsals will run from August 11-September 26 with performances running from September 27-29 and October 4-6 with a 7:00 pm performance each night of its run.
