Mia Love says Donald Trump ‘kind, gracious’ in phone call

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Republican Rep. Mia Love of Utah didn’t vote for Donald Trump but Love says the president-elect telephoned her and was “kind, gracious and excited about the future.”
Love said in a post on her official Facebook page that she was “delighted” to receive Trump’s call Wednesday and that he wanted her “to let Utah know that he loves us” and said thank you.
Love’s representative did not return a message Thursday seeking additional details about the call.
Though Trump won Utah, he finished third in the state’s presidential GOP caucus and said on the campaign trail that he was having a big problem in the state. Many Mormons and conservative voters said they couldn’t support him.
Love said she did not vote for Trump but wrote-in the name of his running mate Mike Pence.
