HEBER CITY, Utah-Per a report from the Wasatch Wave, Heber City has gained an experienced city manager.
The report states that this past Monday, Matt Brower has filled this position who comes from Lincoln City, Calif., a Sacramento suburb, where he also served as city manager for 49,000 residents.
The University of Utah graduate had filled this position in Lincoln City since 2015.
Brower gained a bachelor of science at the U of U as well as a master’s in public administration from Florida State University.
He has also worked as the city manager of Santa Clara, Utah and assistant city manager in Ocala, Fla.
On his first day in office in Heber City, Brower conducted meetings with the city’s various departments as well as with Heber City mayor Kelleen Potter.
Potter stated the community is excited to have Brower and he has been welcomed.
Brower and his wife have brought three children with them to the Heber Valley.
