MILLARD COUNTY, Utah-Sunday evening, various Salt Lake City news outlets confirmed a fire northwest of Delta at Nye Dairy burning over 400 yards of haystacks.
Several pieces of farm equipment were used to move hay around in hopes of preventing the blaze from spreading.
With wind gusts exceeding 50 mph Sunday in the Delta area, per ABC 4 meteorologist Alana Brophy, Millard County Sheriff Robert Dekker stated officials were concerned about the blaze because of the strong winds.
No other structures in the region were damaged by the fire and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
