Wasatch Basketball Club Info

HEBER CITY, Utah-Per information from wasatchhighathletics.com and Wasatch High School boys basketball coach James Ballstatedt, another season of the Wasatch Basketball Club is about to commence.

Over the past five years, the Wasatch Basketball Club has become the largest bantam program at the 5-A level.

Coach Ballstaedt confirms that to assist in this process, some of the teams will be playing a newly-developed Wasatch Back League.

This consists of games on Saturdays in Heber City, Kamas, Coalville and Park City.

The club is committed to providing a positive experience for all players while also developing young talent.

Ultimately, the objective is to strengthen the overall basketball program.

The 2018-19 season will consist of benefits offered that promise to ensue in the enhancement of the overall quality of the club.

The gold and black teams (grades 6th-8th) will receive professional coaching.

There will also be varsity high school coach skill training for all club members. Dates and times will be finalized after tryouts.

Club coach development will occur under the direction of WBC director of coaching Dale Whimpey and club president Ben Harris.

Uniforms will be ordered to fit after teams are made and include the players’ choice of number as well as reversible shorts.

There will be limited club-wide clinics available for all members under the direction of Coach Ballstaedt and the Wasatch High boys’ basketball team.

As has been the case in past years, gym time will continue to be provided and scheduled at Wasatch High School, Rocky Mountain Middle School and Timpanogos Middle School.

The club fees are as follows:

3rd-5th grades, $350, all teams.
